Second Project Meeting for the Prometeo Consortium
The Consortium met today remotely to discuss the progress of the project. The design and modelling of the system is ongoing, the 25 kWe SOE stack construction is in progress and the communication activities have started.

The Prometeo project is now at month 10 of activity. Over this period, most activities have focused on the engineering design process and on the system modelling. The end-use cases of Prometeo were defined and the specific hydrogen demand requirements were set. Based on the end-use cases, the preliminary Process Flow Diagram (PFD) was designed alongside with the design specifications for the individual components of the system prototype. The calculation of the heat exchange area and the definition of the start-up and shut-down procedures are in progress as well as the integration of hydrogen compression and storage. The design and the manufacturing of the 25 kWe Stack Box is in progress. The 5 kWe SOE stack is ready and it will be delivered in December at FBK for testing. The definition of the conceptual scheme of the Thermal Management System with molten salts and phase chancing materials is in progress. Deliverable 4.1 concerning component sizing and operating strategy is under internal reviewing The new visual identity has been created and the new website has been officially launched.
