PROMETEO Partners gather again!
PROMETEO project members meet again in Naples!
These days, ATENA Scarl – Distretto Alta Tecnologia Energia Ambiente is hosting the 7th project meeting of the project PROMETEO, where the project partners are having the possibility to meet again in person!
ATENA is a major research and technology centre in Campania, bringing together universities, research institutes and private companies that work on cutting-edge projects co-funded by the Horizon 2020 research programmes of the European Commission and the Italian government. ATENA’s mission is to transcend current technological boundaries by developing Future and Emerging Technologies (FET).
The two-day event was crucial to present the state of art of each WP, updating Partners on activities implemented and the results achieved as well as the steps still to be taken.
The project is now at a crucial and fundamental pivot point. Now that the design process and system modelling is concluded, it is now time to start assembling the prototype supporting ATENA in the screening and procurement of components. Partners focus on safety aspect, and finally on the techno-economic study by SNAM and IMDEA.
Partners had the opportunity to visit the ATENA laboratories where innovative and advanced hydrogen technologies, energy conversion systems and storage devices are developed. These technologies are strategic to support the paradigm shift towards renewable and sustainable energy by exploring and exploiting new approaches and novel materials.
