PROMETEO at CIES2026
From March 23 to 25, the University of Almería hosted the XX Congreso Ibérico y XVI Congreso Iberoamericano de Energía Solar organized by CIESOL – Centro de Investigaciones en Energía Solar, joint center between la Universidad de Almería and CIEMAT – Centro de Investigaciones Energéticas Medioambientales y Tecnológicas.
The congress takes place every two years in Spain and Portugal and constitutes one of the most important events, with a strong tradition among the Spanish and Portuguese researchers and practitioners working for the development of technologies in the solar energy sector.
On March 23, Maria Beatrice Falasconi – researcher at IMDEA ENERGY – presented the work “Grid integration strategies for solar-powered hydrogen production: techno-economic insights from Spain and Italy”. At the same time, José González-Aguilar chaired the session “Hidrogeno solar 1”.
